VRK Security Services is headed by Managing Director Joshua Unsworth, whose security career spans more than ten years across venue, retail, site, mobile and festival security. Commercial Security
Our commercial security service is built for offices, retail parks, warehouses and mixed-use developments where a visible, professional presence makes all the difference. Event Security
Events bring people together – and with crowds come risks that need managing calmly and discreetly. Our event security teams cover festivals, conferences, sporting fixtures, exhibitions and private functions, handling everything from ticket checks and bag searches to crowd flow and VIP protection.
We work closely with organisers, venues and local authorities in the planning phase, producing crowd management plans, evacuation procedures and staffing rotas that scale with expected attendance. Gate House Security
Your gatehouse is the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and deliveries – and the first line of defence for your site. Our gatehouse officers manage vehicle and pedestrian access, verify credentials, issue passes and keep a precise log of everyone coming and going.
We tailor procedures to your operation, whether that means checking delivery paperwork, coordinating with haulage firms, or enforcing site rules politely but firmly. Officers are trained to spot false documentation, tailgating attempts and suspicious behaviour without creating unnecessary delays for legitimate visitors.
Beyond access control, gatehouse teams handle key holding, CCTV monitoring, incident reporting and liaison with emergency services. It’s a role that demands alertness and consistency – and our officers deliver both, shift after shift.
Asset Protection
Some assets simply cannot be replaced and others are valuable enough to attract serious attention. Our asset protection service is designed for high-value equipment, stock, plant, art and sensitive materials that need more than a standard guarding presence.
We start by identifying your critical assets and the realistic threats against them, then build layered protection around them: controlled access, dedicated patrols, tamper detection and secure storage protocols. Where required, we can provide static guards specifically assigned to a single high-value item or area.
Detailed handover logs, chain-of-custody records and incident reporting mean you always know who had access and when. It’s protection you can prove – useful for insurers, auditors and internal compliance alike.
Vehicle Escort
Moving high-value or sensitive loads between sites carries risk at every junction, layby and delivery point. Our vehicle escorting service provides trained officers in marked or unmarked vehicles to accompany your convoy from origin to destination, deterring interception and responding immediately to any threat.
Routes are planned in advance with risk points identified and alternatives prepared. Escort officers maintain contact with our control room throughout the journey, monitor the load and surrounding traffic, and coordinate with receiving sites so there’s no vulnerable gap at either end.
We handle anything from single-vehicle escorts to multi-load convoys, including abnormal loads and hazardous materials. If your goods matter, they travel with protection.
Response
When an alarm activates or an incident is reported, every minute counts. Our rapid response service puts trained mobile officers on the road 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, attending your premises to investigate, secure and report.
Response officers are equipped to carry out external and internal checks, deal with intruders or trespassers, secure broken entry points and liaise directly with police and keyholders. Each attendance is documented with timestamps, photographs and a written report delivered to you promptly.
We offer both alarm response and key-holding packages, with agreed attendance times and clear escalation procedures. It’s peace of mind knowing that if something happens at 3am, someone qualified is already on their way.
CCTV
CCTV is only as good as the people watching it. Our monitored CCTV service combines modern camera systems with trained operators in our control room, giving you live surveillance, recorded evidence and proactive intervention when something looks wrong.
We can install new systems or integrate with your existing cameras, covering entrances, perimeters, car parks, retail floors and remote sites. Operators monitor feeds in real time, use audio warnings where appropriate, and dispatch response officers or police when an incident develops.
Footage is stored securely and can be retrieved quickly for insurance claims, HR investigations or police enquiries. With clear images and reliable monitoring, CCTV becomes a genuine deterrent rather than just a recording device.
